MIAMI - Effective the week of September 13, the Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) Dan Marino Center will expand its pediatric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) service. The new dates of operation are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The entire MRI team of healthcare professionals has the special skills to meet the specific needs of children. All MRI studies are monitored and read via a high-speed data connection by the nationally recognized team of radiologists at Miami Children's Hospital.

The MCH Dan Marino Center provides specialized services for children at risk for developmental and psychological problems. Services include speech, occupational and physical therapy, psychology and behavior modification, educational services, EEGs, video EEG telemetry and evoked potential studies. At the center, children with developmental disabilities and chronic medical problems receive the most comprehensive and integrated treatment available in an outpatient setting.
