MIAMI - Miami Children's Hospital (MCH) has named Kimberly Hunter as Director of Nursing Operations and Clinical Information. Ms. Hunter will be responsible for managing and coordinating staffing operations and nursing resources as well as informatics.
Prior to joining MCH, Ms. Hunter was Operations Administrator and Senior Systems Engineer at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. During her five- year tenure at this center, she worked closely with the physician leadership to plan, develop, and implement new programs. She also supervised a team of 80 medical professionals.
Ms. Hunter has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Tennessee.
Ms. Hunter is a resident of Weston.
