WHAT:
Groundbreaking for Miami Children’s Hospital’s new 68,000 square-foot Ambulatory Care Building. The new structure will house many key services including the hospital’s Brain Institute, Congenital Heart Center, Plastic Surgery, Pulmonary Function Laboratory, the Craniofacial Center and Pediatric Care Center.
The project is part of the hospital’s “Building on a Dream” construction and renovation program. Completed portions of the project include a new MRI building, a raised helipad, interior renovations and encapsulation of the hospital in brightly colored hurricane-resistant paneling.

Members of the MCH administrative team, physicians,community dignitaries and former patients will be in attendance.
