Our vision is to be where the children are. Ultimately, this means being there through all stages of health and life, both physically and emotionally. To be a trusted partner to children and their families, not only in times of illness, but throughout their life journey.
Our mission is to inspire hope and promote lifelong health by providing the best care to every child.
Lean culture places patients and their families at the center of care while engaging staff in providing the highest quality and service throughout the experience.
We want “Lean to be the way we do, everything we do.”
The purpose of our Lean Transformation Office is to:
- Create the infrastructure for behaviorally-based continuous improvement, organization-wide
- Connect the purpose and people of the organization from the top down and from the bottom up and across via formalized channels
- Enable the mechanism for problems to be solved scientifically and locally, where they happen, when they happen, with top-level support to help build infrastructure to sustain improvements
