The Pediatric Care Center at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Patient-Centered Medical Home Program.
The Pediatric Care Center provides outpatient pediatric services for more than 4,000 children annually, including many with special medical needs.


John M. Lie-Nielsen and Drew Kern Appointed to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Board

Mr. John M. Lie-Nielsen and Mr. Drew Kern have been appointed to serve on the board of directors of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, providing guidance to the 289-bed nonprofit pediatric specialty hospital and its network of outpatient centers. Mr. Jaret Davis , Co-Managing Shareholder of the Miami office of the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig P.A., has been elected 2018 chair of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital board of directors. The 19-member panel oversees the operations of the 289-bed nonprofit pediatric subspecialty hospital and its network of outpatient centers extending from southern Miami-Dade to Palm Beach County.

Miami Children’s Health System to be Renamed Nicklaus Children’s Health System

Miami Children’s Health System will undergo a name change to align the health system with the branding and identity of its flagship, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
