junio 30, 2025 – Diagnosticada con escoliosis a los seis años, Naomi ha estado luchando duro para evitar que su columna vertebral se curve aún más. Después de años de probar varias opciones de tratamiento, y con la pubertad causando una mayor progresión de la curva, Naomi y su familia buscaron otras opciones de tratamiento. Fue en Nicklaus Children’s Instituto de Ortopedia, Medicina Deportiva y la Columna Vertebral donde Naomi y su familia encontraron consuelo y esperanza.

Unique Collaboration Saves Boy with Pancreatic Tumor

marzo 05, 2025 – Harry’s world was turned upside down when a severe abdominal pain landed him in the emergency room.  His parents were stunned to learn he had a large mass covering nearly 80 percent of his pancreas. Thankfully, Harry’s family was connected to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital’s pediatric surgery team for emergency surgery.
 

With Limb-Lengthening, Surgery Is Only the Beginning

marzo 11, 2025 – Liz, who was born with achondroplasia, had limb-lengthening surgery in January 2023 to help her gain more independence and improve her arm mobility. After months of therapy and adjustments, she reached her goal, giving her more freedom to do everyday activities without any limitations.
