Halley J. Park, MD
Pediatric Radiologist
Dr. Halley J. Park is pediatric radiologist within the Department of Radiology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Park completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Rutgers University/Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she also served as chief resident and resident quality improvement director. She then pursued a fellowship in pediatric radiology at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her clinical interests include fetal imaging, pediatric ultrasonography, artificial intelligence, quality improvement, pediatric thoracic imaging and medical journalism.
Dr. Park is a member of the Society of Pediatric Radiology, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, Association of University Radiologists and American Association for Women in Radiology. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Park is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
The Department of Radiology at Nicklaus Children's Hospital features state-of-the-art equipment. The radiology practice has been serving the community since the hospital's inception in 1950. Under the leadership of Dr. Nolan R. Altman, department chief, the group is the largest in South Florida devoted exclusively to the practice of pediatric radiology. It includes board-certified experts in pediatric radiology, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology and cardiac CT imaging, with special interests in fetal imaging, pediatric interventional, as well as developmental and musculoskeletal disorders. The group is the only one in South Florida that offers a pediatric radiology fellowship, and also trains radiology residents.
