Lucky comenzó a recibir terapia física cuando tenía dos años debido a que tenía retrasos para sentarse y voltearse. Su fisioterapeuta notó que el problema no era muscular sino esquelético, una condición que no podía tratar. El pediatra les comentó a Janie y a Greg, los padres de Lucky, acerca de Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Cuando Janie y Greg visitaron Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, conocieron al Director de Cirugía de la Columna Vertebral Pediátrica. El doctor realizó las cirugías necesarias y ahora Lucky puede disfrutar de una vida saludable.
