Child and Adolescent Psychologist
Dr. Perez-Lima is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists
, the physician-led multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is a child and adolescent psychologist within the Division of Psychology
at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital with a focus on providing support to patients diagnosed with cystic fibrosis and their families. Dr. Perez-Lima received her doctor of philosophy from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She serves as director of the Institute for Individual and Family Counseling at the University of Miami, is an executive board member of The Melissa Institute for Violence Prevention and Treatment, as well as a member of the American Psychological Association and the Association of Psychology Training Clinics (APTC). Her clinical interests include working with children and families coping with medical conditions.
Dr. Perez-Lima sees patients at the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital main campus. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
