Gisela Moreira Eyng MD
Pediatric Neurologist
Dr. Gisela Moreira Eyng is a pediatric neurologist with the Department of Neurology, part of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Neuroscience Institute. She earned her medical degree from the Faculdade Universidade Regional de Blumenau in Brazil. Dr. Moreira Eyng completed a residency in pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, followed by a fellowship in child neurology at the University of Chicago in Illinois. She then pursued advanced training with a fellowship in epilepsy with a pediatric focus at the same institution. Her clinical interests include drug-resistant epilepsy, neurogenetics and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Dr. Moreira Eyng is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology and epilepsy. She is a member of the American Epilepsy Society.
Dr. Moreira Eyng is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
