Ana Diaz is a pediatric nurse practitioner and serves as supervisor of the Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) within the Division of Neurosurgery, part of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Neuroscience Institute. She completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Ms. Diaz then pursued a master’s degree in nursing within the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Florida International University in Miami. Her clinical interests encompass all pediatric neurosurgical diseases, including brain tumors, spasticity and hydrocephalus.
Ms. Diaz is a member of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses, Advanced Practice Council and APP Advisory Council.
Ms. Diaz is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multi-specialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
