Medical Director, Neuromuscular and Movement Disorders Programs 

Dr. Migvis Monduy is a pediatric neurologist and serves as medical director of the Neuromuscular and Movement Disorders Programs with Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. Dr. Monduy completed a residency in pediatric neurology at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Her clinical interests include neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders and brain injury medicine.
 
Dr. Monduy is board certified in neurology with special qualifications in child neurology and brain injury medicine. She is a member of the Child Neurology Society, American Academy of Neurology, International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, along with the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine. Dr. Monduy also serves as a peer reviewer for Frontiers in Pediatrics, Muscle and Nerve, as well as the Journal of Child Neurology. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at medical conferences.  
 
Dr. Monduy is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
