A Day Through Play: Teaching Your Child Effective Ways to Communicate Through Play and Everyday Activities
“How do I teach my child to talk?” “Where can I buy a toy to help her talk?” These are some of the questions we get from parents who want to help their child learn to speak. Children learn best through play. As parents, educators and clinicians, it is important to know how to play and what conventional everyday “tools” we can use to facilitate language through play. In this session, you will learn concepts to promote, strategies to use, and appropriate toys to employ.
