Martine has a deep interest in understanding children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and the role of nursing in caring for individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities.

Martine now serves as a patient navigator for the Brain Institute's Neurodevelopmental Conditions Program, caring for children with autism and developmental delays. In this role Martine provides education, guidance, care coordination, and advocates for patients and their families following a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder or other developmental needs.
