Sehajvir Madhok, MD
Pediatric Neurologist
Dr. Sehajvir (Sehaj) Madhok is a board-certified pediatric neurologist and headache specialist with the Department of Neurology, part of the Nicklaus Children’s Neuroscience Institute. He earned his medical degree from Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences in Amritsar, India. He completed a pediatrics residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Madhok specialized in child neurology through a residency at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City. He subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in headache medicine at the Cincinnati Children’s Headache Center in Ohio. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of migraine and other pediatric headache disorders.
Dr. Madhok is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology, American Headache Society and American Medical Association. He has contributed to the field of pediatric neurology through peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national medical conferences.
Dr. Madhok is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. He speaks English, Punjabi and Hindi.
