Savannah Lindon Moon, DO
Pediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon
A scholar-athlete, Dr. Savannah Moon attended St. Thomas Aquinas and earned the Dean’s Academic Scholarship to Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. There, she excelled in Division I Cross Country and Track and became team captain during her senior year. Driven by her passion for medicine, Dr. Moon completed a research year at the University of Miami Stem Cell Institute before earning her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.
Dr. Moon completed a general surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston. During this time, she received Junior and Senior Resident of the Year awards. Dr. Moon then pursued a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at the same institution. She then advanced her training with an additional fellowship in facial aesthetics and pediatric plastic surgery at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include pediatric skin/soft tissue lesions, breast surgery and general reconstructive pediatric plastic surgery.
Dr. Moon is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and currently is board eligible with the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association and candidate for membership with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, she has contributed to more than 10 medical textbook chapters and presented at various medical conferences. Raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. Moon is the daughter of renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Harry K. Moon.
