Dr. Michael G. Read is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon with the
Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Spine Institute at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando. Dr. Read completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the same institution. He then pursued a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. His clinical interests include general pediatric orthopedic concerns including fractures and orthopedic trauma, neuromuscular conditions and hip dysplasia.
Dr. Read is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented at medical conferences.
Dr. Read is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
