What is running injury prevention training?
Running injury prevention training is a program designed to improve strength, power, flexibility and running mechanics to reduce the risk of running related injuries and maximize performance.
What happens during the training?
The runner will be instructed in a specialized training program to improve muscular strength, power and flexibility. The runner will also be trained to perform specific drills aimed to improve running mechanics.
Is any special preparation needed?
No special preparation is needed for the tests. Running shoes should be worn.
What are the risk factors?
Even after running injury prevention training, there is still a risk that a runner can become injured during activity.
