The Nicklaus Children’s Hospital's Gait Analysis Lab is dedicated to helping children with neurologic and orthopedic conditions reach their full potential. "Gait" refers to how a person walks, and gait and motion analysis play a critical role in identifying and understanding conditions that affect a child’s movement in daily life.

Our state-of-the-art lab uses advanced video and computer technology to measure movement, muscle activity, and forces during walking. Combined with imaging, medical history, and clinical evaluations, this information helps our specialists develop individualized treatment plans designed to improve your child’s mobility, function, and overall well-being.

The Gait Analysis Lab is a collaborative program bringing together experts from the Nicklaus Children's Neuroscience Institute, Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Spine Institute, and pediatric rehabilitation services.
