The Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Spine Institute has a new home, a 19,000 square foot facility located in the George E. Batchelor Research and Academic Pavilion at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. The new, state-of-the-art space features expanded treatment areas, complete with an imaging suite featuring two X-ray machines, the EOS spine imaging machine, 18 exam rooms, cast rooms, and meeting spaces for the care of children and their families. This milestone marks an exciting chapter of the institute’s 75-year history, so that all services, including imaging, spine, and general orthopedic care offerings, are now housed in one single location at the main campus. The new institute is located directly across from the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Emergency Department and the Kenneth C. Griffin Surgical Tower. Families are encouraged to park in the yellow garage, where complimentary parking is available.
