This program is designed for teens ages 12 to 17 experiencing difficulties related to sleep, including daytime sleepiness, trouble waking in the morning, difficulty falling asleep and waking in the middle of the night.
Nearly 70 percent of teens get less than the recommended amount of sleep as a result of various biological (e.g. changing hormones) and social factors, including early school start times, worrying, talking with friends late at night, homework and related stress. Insufficient sleep can impact mood, stress-levels, friendships, academics, memory and learning. The goal of this group is to give teens the tools and strategies they need in order to get more sleep and better quality sleep.
Schedule
