MIAMI, FL – The HEAT announced today that it has entered into a partnership with Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) for the 2009-10 season. As part of the deal, MCH will be the presenting sponsor of the HEAT Junior Jam, the HEAT’s youth dance troupe, as well as a sponsor of Burnie’s Birthday, the annual HEAT’s “Kids Day,” which will be held Saturday, February 27, 2010 when the HEAT take on the Milwaukee Bucks. MCH will also sponsor a HEAT Season Ticket Holder Kids Training Camp.
In addition, the HEAT and MCH have also teamed up to promote wholesome family values, good health, and fitness through the Miami HEAT Kids Club. This unique platform will offer discounts to home HEAT games, AmericanAirlines Arena family shows, such as Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney On Ice, and the Harlem Globetrotters. Miami HEAT Kids Club members will also receive newsletters with health tips and special offers for a variety of family friendly events.
