Congratulations to Dr. Danielle Sarik, Research Nurse Scientist at Nicklaus Children's Hospital for being selected as the 2021/2022 Fellow for the George Washington University Center for Health Policy and Media Engagement. Dr. Sarik's application stood out among a pool of applicants with a record of accomplishment in education, practice, leadership, or policy and a demonstrated interest in health policy.
The Center for Health Policy and Media Engagement at George Washington University is committed to increasing visibility across health care disciplines to educate the public about their expertise, perspectives and work. Developing the right health and social policies for the nation depends upon doing so.
"I strongly feel hat representation of the voice and perception of nurses is key, and unfortunately, often overlooked. I hope to learn new insights and skills that I can bring back to our Nicklaus Children's team!" said Dr. Sarik.
