MIAMI - Miami Children's Hospital (MCH) has named Ellie Tinto-Poitier as Director of Ambulatory Services Operations. Ms. Tinto-Poitier will be responsible for managing the Pediatric Care Center and the Dental Clinic. Ms. Tinto-Poitier has worked for more than 10 years in the health care field, holding administrative and policy positions.
Prior to joining MCH, she served as Director for OB/GYN Ambulatory Clinics, and Director of Clinic Business Services at the Medical Center of Louisiana at New Orleans. She has also served as policy analyst for the District of Columbia’s Medicaid program, and has cooperated with a variety of health related programs in New York.
Ms. Tinto-Poitier has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Ms Tinto-Poitier is a resident of Coconut Grove.
