Miami, FL — Miami Children’s Hospital Dan Marino Center has received an award for “Best Services for Special Needs Kids and Families” in the tri-county area from South Florida Parenting Magazine.
Miami Children’s Hospital (MCH) and its affiliates were the top winners overall in the magazine’s annual “Kids’ Crown” healthcare category awards, also receiving the tri-county award for “Best Hospital for Pediatrics” as well as the Miami-Dade county awards for “Best Hospital for Emergency Care,” and “Best Services for Special Needs Kids and Families.”

Each year South Florida Parenting and its readers select organizations offering the best family-friendly activities, products and services to receive “Kids’ Crown Awards.” Winners are chosen on the basis of ballots completed by the magazine’s readers as well as via selection by reader/judge panelists.
Founded in 1998, the Miami Children's Hospital Dan Marino Center is an integrated neurodevelopmental center specializing in the evaluation and treatment of children with neurological disabilities. The Center is the sole multidisciplinary pediatric out-patient facility in South Florida. The Dan Marino Center also provides a wide array of pediatric services with access to top pediatric specialists from Miami Children's Hospital, the only licensed specialty hospital exclusively for children in South Florida.
