Director
As Director for the Fetal Care Center/Special Delivery Unit, Ms. Domina is responsible for leading initiatives to support the program's development, including the creation of the maternity units, as well as the overall enhancements to the surgical services departments. She previously served as Administrative Director of Surgical Services at Nicklaus Children's, where she was responsible for overseeing nine operating rooms and more than 200 employees. Ms. Domina has a bachelor's degree in nursing from Barry University and a master's degree in nursing from University of Miami. She is a member of the American Association of Operating Room Nurses and the American Nurses Association.
Nurse Manager
Ms. Mellon serves as the Nurse Manager for the Fetal Care Center and Director of the Horizon Nurse Residency Program. She has served in several capacities during her time at Nicklaus Children’s including float pool and staff relief team manager as well as leader of the Horizon Nurse Residency and Student Nurse Intern Programs. Prior to joining Nicklaus Children's, Ms. Mellon served in the Women's Services Department at Mercy Hospital. She has a Master's degree in Nursing Leadership and Management from the University of Central Florida, and earned her Bachelor's degree in nursing from Florida International University. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Patient Navigator
As a patient navigator, Ms. Rodriguez serves as a first point of contact for families seeking services of the Fetal Care Center. Prior to joining Nicklaus Children's, she provided bedside care to mothers and newborns as a transition nurse at Homestead Hospital and North Shore Medical Center. Ms. Rodriguez received her bachelor's degree in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
