Continuing Medical Education (CME)

Nicklaus Children's Health System is a CME provider accredited with commendation by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). Nicklaus Children's Health System sponsors several regularly scheduled series (RSS) and yearly conferences at Nicklaus Children's Hospital and in the community.

Continuing medical education (CME) consists of educational activities which serve to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession. The content of CME is that body of knowledge and skills generally recognized and accepted by the profession as within the basic medical sciences, the discipline of clinical medicine, and the provision of health care to the public.

Please create a profile by clicking on the "Register" under the Nicklaus Children's Health System logo. It will ask you to input your email and password of your choice.

Once you create the profile, log in to the site. You can see upcoming live events and you are able to ask the system to alert you for any event on the calendar.

Each Friday at 8:00am, the system is set to capture the signal from Nicklaus Children's Hospital Auditorium but the talk will not begin until 8:15am. When you click on "Watch the Video", the system will open the pre-test. You might want to do the pre-test between 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. so that you are ready to watch when the live broadcast begins.

If you are seeking CME Credit, you must complete the post-test and evaluation at the conclusion of the event. You will be able to claim and save/print the PDF of the certificate.
