Dr. Victoria Fierro is a developmental-behavioral pediatrician, providing evaluations and treatment for children and adolescents with a variety of developmental and behavioral challenges. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela Escuela de Medicina José María Vargas in Caracas. Dr. Fierro completed a residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami. She then pursued a fellowship in general pediatrics and developmental-behavioral pediatrics at Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include autism, as well as learning and attention difficulties.
Dr. Fierro is board certified in general pediatrics and developmental-behavioral pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the Florida Pediatric Society. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals, she has presented at medical conferences and frequently provides expert commentary to the media.
Dr. Fierro is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
