Family-Centered Care through visitation is promoted at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital. All visitors should follow the safety and visitation guidelines in order to ensure safety and confidentiality of our patients. All visitors should be free from symptoms of contagious disease and known exposures.
Regular Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Visitors 12 years of age or older may visit along with parents, adult primary caregivers, grandparents and extended family members at any time. If a visitor is under 12 years of age, notify the nurse for assistance.
Intensive Care, Special Care Nurseries, Surgical Services and Bone Marrow Transplant have special guidelines about visitation. Please notify the nurse for assistance for visitation into these areas.
