Raising Stuttering Awareness

10/13/2021 by Nicole Gondar Hernandez – Stuttering occurs as children learn many languages and sort through how to pronounce different words. While about 75 percent of kids recover from developmental stuttering early on, some may need additional treatment as they age. Nicole Gondar Hernandez, speech-language pathologist, shares some important information to help spotlight this communication disorder.
