Join us for an interactive and informative class for new parents and expectant parents. Nicklaus Children’s Hospital pediatrician Dr. Maria Milla will discuss specifics of newborn care including bathing, temperature taking, newborn behavior, sleeping patterns, diapering, soothing, feeding techniques and more. In addition, she will discuss when to take your infant to the doctor, colic, reflux and vaccinations.

About the Speakers
Dr. Milla is a pediatrician at The Gladys M. and Frederick Stewart Pediatric Care Center at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Main Campus.
Dr. Milla attended American University of the Caribbean and completed her residency at Georgetown University Hospital. In addition, Dr. Milla holds a master’s degree in public health. Dr. Milla’s areas of interest include preventative medicine and lactation. She has two children and speaks Spanish, English and conversational Portuguese.
