Dr. Bismark F. Gonzalez is a pediatrician within the Division of Primary Care at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo School of Health Sciences in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Gonzalez completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Connecticut/UConn Health/Waterbury Hospital/Saint Mary’s Hospital, with additional rotations at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington, Yale New Haven Hospital, Newington Children’s Hospital and Hartford Hospital. After completing his training, Dr. Gonzalez moved to Florida and worked at Community Health Centers in Fort Fierce from 1992-1993. In 1993, he relocated to Miami and established a private practice. Dr. Gonzalez joined Nicklaus Children’s Health System in 2023. Dr. Gonzalez is board certified in general pediatrics. His clinical interests include the management of asthma and allergies, dermatology and ear, nose and throat (ENT) conditions. Dr. Gonzalez’s work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented at medical conferences. Dr. Gonzalez is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
