Matthew Hall, M.D. provides pediatric radiation oncology services to patients at Nicklaus Children's Hospital through our collaboration with the Miami Cancer Institute (MCI). He is the lead pediatric radiation oncologist and director of the Live Like Bella® pediatric radiation oncology program at MCI. He has extensive training and experience in intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), Gamma Knife stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and intensity modulated Proton Therapy — a highly advanced form of radiation technology that targets cancer cells with pencil beam scanning precision while sparing the surrounding healthy tissues. His clinical specialty and research focus on innovative ways to treat cancer with radiation therapy while minimizing long-term side effects.
Dr. Hall is the principal investigator of the Prospective Observational Trial of the Impact of Radiation Dose in Children with Brain and Skull Base Tumors, which is currently open and accruing patients at Miami Cancer Institute and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. This trial is supported by grant funding awarded to Dr. Hall in 2017 through the Florida Department of Health Pediatric Cancer Research Initiative.
