Yenimar Ventura, MD, FAAP
Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Dr. Yenimar Ventura provides care to patients in the pediatric emergency departments at Baptist Hospital and Homestead Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela/Escuela Jose Maria Vargas in Caracas. Dr. Ventura completed a residency in pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College/Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York. She then pursued a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville.
Dr. Ventura is board certified in general pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the Society of Pediatric Sedation, Latin American Society of Pediatric Emergencies and P2Network. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at medical conferences.
Dr. Ventura is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
