Dr. Pedro Sequeira sees patients at Nicklaus Children’s Urgent Care Centers. He attended medical school at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua and completed one year of rotary internship at Oscar Rosales teaching hospital in in Leon, Nicaragua. Dr. Sequeira earned his medical degree from Cifas University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He completed a residency in anatomic pathology from the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by a residency in pediatrics at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. His clinical interests include pediatric emergency medicine and teaching the implementation of medical best practices.
Dr. Sequeira is board certified in general pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Sequeira is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
