Dr. Ana Maria Rodriguez is a clinical geneticist with the Division of Genetics and Metabolism at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned her medical degree from Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, Colombia. Dr. Rodriguez completed a residency in pediatrics at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, where she also served as chief resident. She then pursued a medical genetics residency at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Her professional interests include clinical genetics, clinical and translational research, diversity and equity in medicine, as well as medical education.

Dr. Rodriguez is board certified in general pediatrics. She is a member of the American College of Medical Genetics. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and she has presented at medical conferences. Throughout her career, Dr. Rodriguez has served in various international settings, delivering care to diverse populations.
 
Dr. Rodriguez is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the physician-led multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and also speaks French.
