Leslie Leal, DO
Pediatric Urgent Care
Dr. Leslie Leal sees patients at Nicklaus Children’s Urgent Care Centers. She earned her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Virginia. Dr. Leal then completed a residency in pediatrics at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
Dr. Leal is board certified in general pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians and Florida Medical Association. Dr. Leal formerly served as chair of the Residents and Trainees Committee for the Floria Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is president and co-founder of Angel Backpack, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides backpacks filled with supplies to underserved individuals and victims of natural disasters. She has also participated in international medical mission trips. Her work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, and she has presented at medical conferences.
Dr. Leal is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multi-specialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
