Mark S. Webman is a graduate of the University of Miami (BBA, Finance). He received his dental degree from Case Western Reserve University
(DDS) where he was the 1976 American Society of Dentistry for Children’s Most Outstanding Student in Pediatric Dentistry. After graduation, he completed a two year fellowship in pediatric dentistry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
, Eastman Dental Center.
Dr. Webman is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
. Board Certification is a very rigorous process which involves a written examination and an oral examination by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He has been honored as a fellow of the International College of Dentistry
. He has been very active in organized dentistry and has served in many state and local positions including the President of the South Dade Dental Society and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He was previously the Chief of Dentistry at Miami Children’s Hospital and has served on the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee.
Dr. Webman is the author of several publications on pediatric dentistry and has been a speaker at numerous dental and medical meetings. He splits his time between private practice and as an instructor at the residency program in pediatric dentistry at Miami Children’s Hospital. He and his wife, Bonnie, have three adult children and three grandchildren. He is a native Floridian and enjoys traveling the world. Closer to home, he enjoys fishing and exploring the Everglades.
