Dr. Mendoza is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists, the multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. He earned his medical degree from Instituto Superior de Ciencias Medicas in Villa Clara, Cuba. He then completed a residency in pediatrics at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York. His clinical interests include critical care medicine, emergency medicine and medically complex children.
Dr. Mendoza is board certified in general pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Mendoza sees patients at Nicklaus Children’s Urgent Care Centers, which are located throughout South Florida. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
