David Figueroa is a board-certified physician assistant/associate with the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, part of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Orthopedic, Sports Medicine & Spine Institute. He earned an associate’s degree in physician assistant studies at Miami Dade College in Florida. Mr. Figueroa then pursued a bachelor’s degree in biology at Florida International University in Miami. He then completed his physician assistant training with a master’s degree in medical science at St. Francis University in Loretto Pennsylvania. His clinical interests include sports medicine and pediatric orthopedic trauma.
Mr. Figueroa is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants.
Mr. Figueroa is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
