Due to the storm, the ambulatory surgery center on the campus of FIU will be closed on Monday, November 9th.

Outpatient procedures performed in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC):

Nationally recognized Medicare and AAAHC standards, and criteria of our medical board determine the type of cases clinically suited to the Ambulatory Surgery Center. In general, these are less invasive, non-life threatening cases of relatively healthy children, adolescents and teens.
