Nutrition Services for Patients

The Nicklaus Children's Hospital Food and Nutrition Department provides meals, special formulas, and clinical nutrition services to inpatients. The meals prepared and served by the department meet the nutritional requirements of the patients based on their medical and cultural needs, while at the same time appealing to their taste. Cafeteria

The Nicklaus Children's Hospital Cafeteria, the Golden Cub Café, is located on the first floor of the Variety wing, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our café options include hot meals, salad bar, grill, rotating station and a prepared foods area.

Jungle Café

Located on the lobby of the Central building.
This Café serves pastries, deli sandwiches, soup, grab and go healthy options, assorted beverages, Cuban coffee, regular coffee and cappuccinos.

Miracles Café

Located in the Advanced Pediatric Care Pavilion lobby.
This Café serves Starbucks coffee, cuban coffee, regular coffee, assorted beverages pastries, and varied snacking options.

Vending Machines

There are a few areas with vending machines around the hospital. To the west of the Golden Cub Café are coffee, soda, ice cream, and snack vending machines, as well as a microwave available for visitor use. On the second floor of the hospital is another room with vending machines as well as within patient care unit's family waiting area of the APCP Tower.
