About Jackeline Sanchez, PhD

Dr. Jackeline Sanchez is a licensed psychologist with the Department of Psychology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and participates on the Adolescent Medicine and multidisciplinary Gender Program teams. She earned a master’s in education focused on mental health counseling from the University of Miami and a doctorate in psychology from the University of Florida. Dr. Sanchez completed her internship at Cambridge Hospital, followed by a post-doctoral fellowship in adolescent medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her clinical interests include adolescent mental health, mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and LGBTQ+ youth. Dr. Sanchez’s work has been published in peer-reviewed articles, she has contributed book chapters, as well as presented at national conferences. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
