Mauricio's Success Story

Last year 5-year-old Mauricio and his parents were transferred from Puerto Rico to NCH and spent about 20 days in the hospital. Doctors did several procedures, including a gallbladder removal. Also they discovered that Mauricio had a rare congenital condition. Mauricio and his parents came back to NCH to treat this condition and he had a successful surgery.  Read this story.

Cynthia's Success Story

When Cynthia's parents were vacationing in Miami in 1957, she was admitted for Friedlander's pneumonia to the Children's Hospital in Coral Gables.  She was only two years old. Cynthia had been suffering in North Carolina with bronchial asthma and after speaking to a few different people her parents knew they needed to take me south to get better.  Read this story.
