Program Eligibility

Eligibility for PGY1 residents

  • Graduates or candidates for graduation of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited degree program (or one in process of pursuing accreditation) or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Registered with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and adherence to the rules of the Match.

Eligibility for PGY2 residents

  • Graduates or candidates for graduation of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited degree program (or one in process of pursuing accreditation) or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP).
  • Graduate of an ASHP-accredited or candidate status PGY1 Pharmacy Residency program. A copy of resident’s PGY1 completion certificate will be required and placed in the resident’s file.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Registered with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and adherence to the rules of the Match.

Interested candidates must submit completed applications through the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application (PhORCAS)

Interview

Onsite interviews are encouraged but virtual interviews are available and should be requested with the RPD.
