Tammy L. Trabosh, APRN, CPNP-AC/PC
Tammy L. Trabosh is a board-certified nurse practitioner within the Division of Neurology, part of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Brain Institute. She completed a bachelor’s degree in science of nursing from Baylor University at the Louise Herrington School of Nursing in Texas. Mrs. Trabosh then completed her nurse practitioner training with a master’s degree in nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington with specialization in primary care pediatrics, she then advanced her training with a post-master’s certificate in acute care pediatrics at the same institution and holds certification in both primary and acute care pediatrics. Her clinical interests include neurocritical care neurology, particularly status epilepticus, encephalitis and meningitis, pediatric stroke, traumatic brain injury, neonatal hypothermia management, and spasticity.
Mrs. Trabosh is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP), APP Advisory Council and serves on the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital bioethics committee. She also participates in pediatric neurocritical care research studies within the hospital.
Mrs. Trabosh is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
