Mia Gabrielle Kalisch, MSN, FNP-BC, APRN, CPN
Mia Kalisch is a board-certified family nurse practitioner first assistant with the Division of Plastic Surgery Practice at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She then pursued a second bachelor’s degree in nursing at Purdue University Northwest in Calumet, Indiana. Ms. Kalisch then completed her nurse practitioner training with a master’s degree in science of nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Purdue University Northwest. Her clinical interests include pediatric breast and body differences, pediatric finger and hand and wrist injuries/fractures.
Ms. Kalisch is a member of the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and she was a recipient of the Daisy Award of Nursing Excellence from The Daisy Foundation in 2020.
Ms. Kalisch is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multi-specialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System.
