Elisa Echevarria, APRN
Elisa Echevarria is a nurse practitioner within the Division of Endocrinology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Mrs. Echevarria completed a second bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Miami. She then pursued a master’s degree in nursing at Florida International University in Miami. Her clinical interests include diabetes, obesity and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Mrs. Echevarria is a member of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES) and is currently pursuing her Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) license.
Mrs. Echevarria is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multi-specialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
