Dr. Rebecca Lenard was born and raised in Miami, Florida and was Dr. Webman’s patient growing up. She graduated from Ransom Everglades School and then received her BA in Neuroscience and Behavior from Barnard College of Columbia University in New York City, Class of 2008. She returned to Florida to get her doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) from University of Florida College of Dentistry, Class of 2012, and received the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Predoctoral Student Award. In 2014, she completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Florida in Naples where, in her second year, she held the position of Chief Resident.
Dr. Lenard is board certified in Pediatric Dentistry and currently serves as a spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Lenard is on staff at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, in addition to providing comprehensive care in the office, including oral and IV sedation. She volunteers on the Craniofacial team at the hospital, helping children with special needs.
Coming full circle, Dr. Lenard is thrilled to be working in the office where she first learned about being a pediatric dentist.
