Jennifer Perez, APRN, MSN, CPNP-PC
Jennifer Perez is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with the Division of Neurosurgery, part of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Brain Institute. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida International University in Miami. Ms. Perez then obtained a second bachelor’s degree in nursing from the same institution. After obtaining her nursing license, she began working as a nurse at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital with the Float ICU team, gaining experience in the NICU, CICU and PICU for two years. Ms. Perez then transitioned to working as a NICU nurse for an additional two years. She completed her training as a nurse practitioner with a master’s degree in nursing from Florida International University’s Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program. She is currently furthering her training with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree which will be completed in August 2024.
Ms. Perez is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association and Florida Nurses Association.
Ms. Perez is employed by Nicklaus Children’s Pediatric Specialists (NCPS), the multispecialty medical group practice of Nicklaus Children’s Health System. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
